Mission
Melanin Excellence is an organization owned and operated by black mental health professionals dedicated to providing accessible mental healthcare to the black community to combat intergenerational trauma due to years of oppression, racism, and promote resiliency in the face of adversity.
Vision
Melanin Excellence creates a safe, therapeutic environment for the black people to process and manage their mental health with professionals who can understand their culture, values, and challenges.
Services We Provide
Counseling services provide support for managing challenges, mentorship programs offer advice and encouragement, and addiction peer support groups create a community for recovery, giving hope and empowerment to individuals in need. Services can be availed individually or through different plans. Most plans consist of 6 sessions, except for the mentorship program, which spans over a 10-week course. This setup allows for a clear comparison of prices between the two options.

Indeed, we do. Thanks to the convenience of telehealth, we are able to serve clients across all states. When requesting services, please specify the state you reside in.
Do you see client outside of Oklahoma?
Currently, we accept only Oklahoma Healthcare Authority (Soonercare) for individual, family, and group therapy services.
Do you accept insurance?
What if you don't finish?
If a client ends services early, refunds for all plans will be prorated accordingly.
